HOST.NC follows up on these requests with the support of a referenced .NC manager when the request requires specific assistance.

Legal entities must in particular have a registered office or establishment in New Caledonia and be identifiable through RIDET, while contacts must be established in New Caledonia with an effective address.

The client remains solely responsible for choosing the domain name and ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights, including trademarks, trade names, company names, personal names or intellectual property rights.

5. Prices, offers and technical characteristics

Prices, offers, capacities, quotas, resources, options and technical characteristics displayed on host.nc may change. Hostchilipepper strives to present information clearly and accurately, but material, typographical, technical or update errors may occur.

In case of obvious error on a price, characteristic or offer, Hostchilipepper reserves the right to correct the information, cancel an order or propose an alternative solution. Applicable prices are those confirmed during the order, in the quote, invoice or client area.

7. Availability of the host.nc website

9. Backups and restoration

Technical backups may be performed according to applicable offers, tools and policies. However, unless a specific option is expressly subscribed, these backups do not constitute a contractual guarantee of complete, permanent or systematic restoration.

The client remains responsible for keeping independent personal backups of websites, files, databases, emails, configurations and content. Detailed conditions are specified in the Backup and Restoration Policy.

10. Security

Hostchilipepper implements reasonable means to secure its services and infrastructure. However, no technical solution can guarantee absolute security.

The client remains responsible for the security of access, passwords, CMS, themes, plugins, scripts, forms, user accounts, backups and content. Hostchilipepper cannot be held responsible for incidents resulting from a weak or compromised password, outdated website, vulnerable plugin, compromised theme, dangerous script, access granted to a third party, configuration error, lack of independent backup, client negligence or third-party provider chosen by the client.

11. Content hosted by clients

Clients are solely responsible for content they host, publish, transmit or store through host.nc services. Hostchilipepper does not exercise general prior control over content hosted by its clients.

However, Hostchilipepper may intervene when content or activity is reported, detected or considered to present a legal, technical, security or contractual risk. In case of manifestly unlawful content, phishing, spam, malware, infringement of third-party rights or violation of applicable terms, Hostchilipepper may take any necessary measure, including suspension, limitation, deletion, blocking or reporting.

12. Advice and technical information

Advice, recommendations, guides, tutorials or technical indications that may be provided by Hostchilipepper or by an authorized support partner are provided as assistance.

They do not exempt the client from verifying whether such information is suitable for its own situation, website, tools, legal obligations or technical environment. Unless a specific service is contractually agreed, Hostchilipepper does not guarantee the result of any configuration, optimization, migration, installation, recommendation or intervention carried out based on general information.

13. Business results, SEO and performance

Hostchilipepper does not guarantee any business result, natural search ranking, search engine positioning, traffic volume, conversion rate, revenue or economic performance resulting from use of the services.

Website performance may depend on many factors, including website quality, technical optimization, image weight, plugins used, chosen theme, code quality, traffic, DNS configuration, third-party services, marketing strategy, published content and visitor behavior.
