What are additional options for?
Options add flexibility to an existing or pending compatible plan. They are useful when the extra need remains limited and reasonable.
They do not replace a more suitable plan if the website, email or files grow significantly.
1. The three main options
+1 GB disk space
This option adds space to the web storage of a compatible HOST.NC hosting plan. It is useful if the website, files, images or backups take more space than expected.
+1 email address 250 MB
This option adds one extra professional mailbox to a compatible hosting plan. It can be used to create addresses such as [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected].
+250 MB email storage
This option increases the capacity of an existing mailbox. It is useful when an address receives many messages or keeps many attachments.
2. Conditions
Options are not standalone products. They must be attached to a compatible HOST.NC service, already active or being ordered.
Automatic options apply to WEB START 1, WEB PRO 3, WEB EXPERT 5 and WEB PREMIUM 10. Each plan keeps its own maximum limits so the service remains coherent.
MAIL PRO has no automatic options at launch. WEB MAX is a custom configuration: needs are manually reviewed before activation or adjustment.
3. Option or plan upgrade?
An option makes sense for a limited adjustment: a little more space, one extra email address or a mailbox that grows occasionally.
If several options become necessary, or if the website and email needs grow durably, moving to a higher plan may be clearer and more stable.
4. How to add an option
An option can be added from the client area when the related service is compatible. If unsure, open a ticket before confirming.
